A Russian KAB glide bomb struck a residential building in Kharkiv on Saturday morning, killing one person, damaging civilian housing and triggering a large-scale emergency response. Kharkiv, Ukraine’s 2nd largest city, is repeatedly targeted by Russian strikes, including the use of glide bombs against residential areas. These attacks damage civilian housing and disrupt everyday life in the city, with residents regularly facing sudden impacts on homes and infrastructure. Rescue teams, medics, police, the Ukrainian Red Cross rapid response team, city emergency units, and municipal services were deployed to the site. Residents were evacuated, debris was cleared, apartments were checked, and searches were carried out for anyone potentially trapped under the rubble. Eight people were rescued during the operation, according to local officials. 📷Ihor Terekhov
