A Russian airstrike on Kramatorsk in Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast injured one man, destroyed one private home, and damaged 18 others, according to local authorities. A fire broke out at the site of the strike and was quickly extinguished by emergency crews. Separately, a Russian FPV drone hit a multi-storey residential building, causing a fire on a balcony of one apartment. Firefighters brought the blaze under control and prevented it from spreading into living areas. Photos from the scene show fire trucks fitted with anti-drone netting – a necessary precaution used in frontline areas where emergency responders are regularly targeted in follow-up FPV drone attacks by Russian forces. Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast continues to face frequent combined strikes involving aviation bombs and FPV drones, with residential areas repeatedly affected and emergency services responding under sustained risk conditions. 📷Ukraine’s State Emergency Services
