A Russian airstrike hit Kharkiv’s Kholodnohirskyi district on the morning of 20 June, damaging a two-storey residential building. One person was killed and nine others were injured, including two children. All injured residents were hospitalized following the strike. Kharkiv remains one of the most frequently targeted cities in Ukraine, with repeated Russian strikes hitting residential areas and infrastructure. Civilian districts continue to face the risk of sudden attacks that cause deaths, injuries, and damage to homes, leaving residents to deal with the aftermath of ongoing shelling. Emergency services responded at the site, including rescuers, police, medics, canine units, volunteers, and municipal workers.
