Graham Pemberton, former RAF Typhoon pilot and now Head of Operational Training Delivery at BAE Systems, explains how Typhoon training has evolved. A new generation of 360° simulators are kept in lockstep with the aircraft, connected across sites for collective training, and three distinct modes of preparation - from muscle-memory drills to full operational rehearsal without peacetime constraints.
