🇪🇺 Exciting things are coming in 2027 in the field of Youth Information! Earlier this week, the Eurodesk Executive Committee (EEC) (Robert Helm-Pleuger, Valentina Piras, Alexandra Francesca Duică, Miriam Petra Ómarsdóttir Awad, Zsófia Bertalan, Claire Conlon) and Audrey FRITH, Eurodesk Director, met at the Eurodesk Brussels Link office to discuss the network's current and future plans. What’s coming in 2027? 🔵 New format for the Eurodesk Awards 🔵 Expansion of Eurodesk to new countries at the Autumn Network Meeting 🔵 The expansion of  DiscoverEU to 6 new countries, Eurodesk answering the helpdesk through the European Youth Portal!  🔵 Reinforced training offer as part of Eurodesk Learning & Development Plan Eurodesk had the honour to welcome Glenn Micallef, the EU Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport, for a fruitful and open dialogue on the future EU Youth Strategy. We shared views on the need to create bridges between the EU and young people in their local communities. This concern echoed the Eurodesk position, highlighting the crucial role of youth information services and our local multipliers in raising awareness and supporting young people in their European journey. In many countries, youth (information) work is still not recognised, a challenge the Commissioner aims to tackle, in line with the outcomes of the European Youth Work Agenda.
