💡✈️ Hosting #aviation #innovation in the SESAR 3 ATC-TBO Open Days at #EIH the EUROCONTROL Innovation Hub. 👉 The event on 10-11 June brought together c.80 expert practitioners to discuss the key results, conclusions & recommendations from the EIH-led SESAR ATC-TBO (Air Traffic Control – Trajectory-Based Operations) project as it nears completion, with contributions from #ANSPs, #airlines, the industry & institutional stakeholders. During the two days, participants explored how #TBO can support more efficient, sustainable and predictable air traffic management including: ➡️an opening by Laurent Renou, Head of the EIH & Dan Ivanescu, SESAR3 ATC-TBO project manager ➡️setting the scene by EUROCONTROL MUAC and CNS experts ➡️presentations on trajectory prediction & separation management, air-ground trajectory synchronisation using #CPDLC clearances, and #ATC automation solutions ➡️demos by Airbus, BULATSA, CIRA, COOPANS, DFS, DSNA, #EUROCONTROL, NATS, NLR, PANSA, skyguide, Skysoft and Thales Discussions involving the SESAR Joint Undertaking also focused on: 🎯 operational expectations and future deployment perspectives, 📐 alignment with the Digital European Sky vision & #CP2 Common Project 2, 🔜 the next steps in the follow-up ATC-TBO 2 project.
