✈️Delighted to be joining IFATSEA & leading aviation sector representatives to talk about "Preparing ATM for tomorrow: #ATSEP skills, systems & #safety in transition" at the #IFATSEA-EURO Conference 2026, taking place in Sarajevo🇧🇦 over the next 3 days. During the opening session, Tânia Cardoso Simões, #EUROCONTROL Director Aviation Transformation, addressed the conference on behalf of our Director General, Raúl Medina Caballero, alongside representatives from #IFATSEA as well as the Bosnia & Herzegovina ATSEP Association, BHANSA, European Commission, the SESAR Joint Undertaking, CANSO, European Transport Workers' Federation (#ETF), ATCEUC & International Flight Information Service Association (IFISA). 🔑Our core message: the aviation community is navigating a period of accelerated #digitaltransformation, and during this we need to ensure that #resilience, #safety & #security remain at the core of #ATM evolution. 👉It's a transformation that is creating major opportunities, but also poses significant challenges, including: ➡️managing growing system complexity ➡️strengthening #cybersecurity and resilience ➡️establishing robust governance for #AI, data & cloud technologies ➡️ensuring the safe coexistence of legacy and next-generation ATM systems ➡️developing the skills needed for tomorrow's ATM workforce.
