Discussing the future of chemistry Our colleagues, Liesbeth Tytgat and Steve Helfensteyn, from EuroChem Antwerpen recently took part in a panel discussion with chemical engineering students at KU Leuven. Together with other industry representatives, they discussed the challenges facing the chemical sector today, as well as the opportunities emerging through innovation, new technologies and changing market conditions. Most importantly, it was an open exchange with the next generation of engineers — offering students a realistic view of the industry while encouraging dialogue about its future.
