📷 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗽 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗵 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝘃𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 📍On 9 April, a EuroCham delegation led by Vice Chairman jeanjacques Bouflet visited the Long Thanh International Airport (LTIA) project site for a working meeting with the AIRPORTS CORPORATION OF VIETNAM (ACV). The delegation included EuroCham Board Members Tri Mai Hoang-Mai Hoang and Simonetta Di Domenico, representatives and member companies of the Transportation & Logistics Sector Committee (TLSC) and EuroCham Vietnam Culture, Sports, and Tourism Sector Committee, alongside representatives from affiliated chambers - NordCham Vietnam, Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (SCCV), ICHAM Vietnam, German Business Association - GBA, Central and Eastern European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (CEEC), and Dutch Business Association Vietnam DBAV 🇳🇱. 💡The visit allowed European business leaders to gain first-hand insights into one of Vietnam’s most ambitious infrastructure projects while exploring cooperation in aviation, logistics, and tourism. The airport's future operations are expected to strengthen global supply chain connectivity for southern Vietnam. 🔑 Key insights from the discussion:  • 𝗔𝗖𝗩 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗴𝘂𝘆𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗼 𝗖𝘂𝗼𝗻𝗴 presented the master plan and progress of Phase 1 of the project. • 𝗟𝗧𝗜𝗔 𝗣𝗠𝗨 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝘂 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗺 𝗡𝗴𝘂𝘆𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝗻 highlighted the scale of the airport, expected to reach 100 million passengers annually.  • 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗵 𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗼 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗴𝘂𝘆𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝗵 𝗗𝘂𝗻𝗴 outlined plans for a cargo hub with 5 million tonnes annual capacity. 📌Industry perspectives from EuroCham:  • Vice Chair Jean-Jacques Bouflet emphasised that modern, efficient airport infrastructure is vital for attracting high-quality investment, facilitating trade, and reinforcing Vietnam’s global competitiveness.   • 𝗧𝗟𝗦𝗖 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗡𝗴𝘂𝘆𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗶 𝗧𝗵𝘂 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗴 noted that LTIA could transform Vietnam’s logistics ecosystem through greater connectivity and cargo capacity. • CST SC Co-Chair Timen ter Meulen Swijtink highlighted the importance of seamless immigration and passenger services in shaping international travellers’ first impressions of Vietnam.  The visit concluded with both sides reaffirming their shared commitment to continued dialogue and cooperation.   👉 Read the full recap with pictures here: https://lnkd.in/g7PyFew2   #EuroChamVietnam #LongThanhAirport #Recap ___ 🔵Subscribe to EuroCham Vietnam's weekly Newsletter for the latest happenings:  https://lnkd.in/gUTVRYnC 🟢Join EuroCham Vietnam's WhatsApp group for key updates: https://lnkd.in/gZGM7WFy
