This week, we had the pleasure of hosting the international conference of the International Political Science Association (IPSA) in Bolzano, bringing together scholars, researchers, and experts from around the world to discuss the challenges facing ethnically and culturally diverse societies. 🌏Minorities represent a significant share of the world’s population. According to United Nations estimates, between 10% and 20% of people worldwide belong to a minority group. Yet many of these communities continue to face significant vulnerabilities, with political and economic pressures threatening their identities, languages, cultures, and rights. 💬The conference provided an important opportunity to reflect on these challenges and to explore ways of fostering more inclusive societies that value diversity and ensure equal participation for all. 🙏🏻Thank you to all participants for their valuable insights, thoughtful contributions, and engaging discussions, which helped make the conference such a rich and meaningful exchange. 📷Eurac Research / Andrea De Giovanni with Andrea Carla, Institute for Minority Rights - Eurac Research, Center for Autonomy Experience - Eurac Research
