Congratulations to Giulia Torriani, who, together with Francesco Babich and Olga Somova, won the Best Paper Award at Indoor Air 2026 in Singapore, the world’s leading conference for indoor air quality professionals.   🙌 Eurac Research received major international recognition in front of more than one thousand delegates from around the world. The award ceremony was held at Singapore Management University last week.   🏅 The awarded paper was authored by the team at Eurac Research together with Simone Torresin and Rossano Albatici (Università di Trento) and presents SmellscaPy, an open-source Python library designed to support the analysis, visualization, and interpretation of perceptual data on indoor olfactory environments.   👃 The research aims to broaden the concept of indoor air quality beyond pollutant reduction, highlighting the role of smell in shaping wellbeing and multisensory experience in buildings.   Institute for Renewable Energy – Eurac Research 📷 Eurac Research/Giulia Torriani
