Final Project Meeting in Vienna 🚨 Last Thursday, 20 November, the EUMA consortium gathered for the final EUMA Project meeting at the University of Vienna 🎓 to reflect on achievements across the five Work Packages and discuss the long-term impact of EUMA, and the new Springer Nature book series "Disaster Management, Civil Protection, and Resilience" 📚. 🤝 Partners present on-site included EUMA's mastermind and member of the Scientific Advisory Board Peter Billing, Rainer Bell & Lothar Schrott (The University of Bonn); Cees van Westen (University of Twente); Emanuele Sommario (Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna); Tauno Suurkivi & Kadri Pendin (Sisekaitseakadeemia (The Estonian Academy of Security Sciences); Aurélia BONY (Ecole des Mines d'Alès); the coordinating UNIVIE team Thomas Glade, Annika Fröwis, Sophia Sternath & Dr. Philipp Marr along with Tanja Prinz & Salome Manolas from Universität Wien – Postgraduate Center. We were also delighted to welcome our new EUMAplus partners Székely Family & Co. Nonprofit Kft. represented by Zoltán Székely & Orsolya Székely-Keresztesi.
