Etihad takes off for Dhaka with sold-out inaugural flight. Our new service between Abu Dhabi and the capital of Bangladesh strengthens vital trade, travel, and cargo links between the UAE and Bangladesh, supporting families, businesses, and communities across both countries. Operating four times weekly on our Boeing 777 aircraft, the route also adds significant widebody belly-hold capacity to support growing cargo flows, including Bangladesh’s globally significant garment and textile sector. With Dhaka now part of our network, we continue to grow our presence across South Asia, connecting more people, industries, and opportunities to the world through Abu Dhabi.
