Italy ranks third in Europe among the countries with the highest risk of embedded deforestation in consumption 👇 The finance section of La Repubblica covers the findings from our latest report "Deforestation Made in Italy", produced in collaboration with the Università degli Studi di Padova. The first edition of the report was published in 2020, born out of the European Union's call to raise awareness around the issue of embedded deforestation. Six years on, the second edition revisits the topic in light of scientific developments, a growing awareness within society, and the publication of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
