Looking back at the first half of 2026, I'm very grateful for what we've achieved together at Etha. I'd like to sincerely thank our customers, partners, and colleagues for your trust, collaboration, and support throughout the year so far. The first half of the year has marked an important new chapter in our journey. In February, Etha became part of Ametalis, a Nordic corporate group focusing on sustainability, creating new opportunities to strengthen our expertise, broaden our capabilities, and create even greater value for our clients across the rapidly evolving energy sector. Around the same time, I had the privilege of stepping into the role of Managing Director. It has been an honour to build on the strong foundation created by Staffan Asplund and the entire Etha team. The pace of the energy transition continues to accelerate, bringing larger, more technically complex projects and exciting new opportunities. Throughout the year, we've continued to strengthen our position as one of the leading consultancies in sustainable energy development, project advisory and due diligence, and transaction advisory. We've had the opportunity to support several significant milestones together with our clients, including the successful Pyhäsalmi BESS transaction earlier this year. We've also expanded our services into data center development, supported a growing number of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, and continued to see increasing demand for expertise in hybrid energy solutions that combine wind, solar, energy storage, and flexible grid connection solutions. In addition, we've moved into new office premises in Helsinki, providing an excellent environment for our growing team and closer collaboration with our clients. While business achievements are important, they're only possible because of the people behind them. That's why I'm especially pleased that our latest employee wellbeing survey resulted in an Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) of 64 and a psychological safety score of 87/100. These results reflect a workplace where people genuinely enjoy working, feel comfortable sharing ideas, asking questions, and challenging each other constructively. I believe this culture not only makes Etha a great place to work but also enables us to deliver better outcomes for our clients. As we head into the summer, I'd like to thank everyone who has been part of our journey this year. The trust of our customers and partners, combined with the dedication and expertise of our team, continues to drive us forward. I look forward to continuing our collaboration during the second half of the year as we help accelerate the energy transition together. Wishing you, your colleagues, and your families a relaxing summer and a well-deserved break! / Marko Ekman Please note that Etha’s personnel availability will be limited from July 20 to Aug 2, as most of us are enjoying our summer holidays. We’ll be back in the office on Monday, Aug 3.
