Ten Thousand Thoughts has been made in the mountain village of Eclause, in Piemonte. From here, the French border is visible in the distance, and the local language is a combination French and Italian.  Every day for about 3 months I have made some of the work and carried it up to a barn - expanding it step by step. We have walked the path so many times we must have worn a groove into the earth. There is something deeply special to me about this timeless place. It has been inhabited for more than a thousand years, quietly standing by as we briefly busy ourselves around it. Next to the barn stands an ancient church, built when Leonardo da Vinci was around. Inside its nave, symbols rather than images represent Christ—enigmatic markings whose origins no one quite knows. The entire place seems to echo with stories and mystery. #ContemporaryArt #MultimediaArt #CrossCulturalDialogue #ArtInnovation #ArtNarrative #ArtistPractice #ArtInstallation
