𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝘆𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘂𝘀 𝗔𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 Hybrid propulsion is an important step towards cleaner and more efficient inland cruising. We are proud to see our Octopus Series battery system integrated on board the newly built inland cruise vessel Amadeus Aurea. We have supplied 520 kWh Octopus Series battery system for the hybrid diesel-electric propulsion configuration. The system helps reduce the need to start additional generators during sailing, resulting in lower fuel consumption, reduced emissions and quieter operation on board. As emission regulations in ports and urban areas across Europe continue to evolve, battery-supported hybrid propulsion offers inland cruise operators a practical pathway towards more sustainable operations, and now Amadeus Aurea is ready for the future!
