🌍 ESS was pleased to welcome the International Collaboration on Advanced Neutron Sources (ICANS XXV) community to Sweden. This year’s meeting combined high‑level facility overviews with in‑depth technical discussions, featuring updates from major laboratories including ILL - Institut Laue Langevin, Paul Scherrer Institute, ISIS Neutron and Muon Source, SNS Neutrons at ORNL, J-PARC, China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS), LANSCE Accelerator Modernization Project, Forschungszentrum Jülich and ESS Bilbao. 🤝 Founded in 1977, ICANS is a long-standing international forum for scientists and engineers working on advanced neutron sources, particularly pulsed and accelerator-based spallation facilities.
