🌍 A new international science community is taking shape in Lund, with two world class research infrastructures located side by side and just one hour from Copenhagen International Airport. With ESS and MAX IV at its heart, and strong links to universities, industry and international partners, Science Village is a globally connected place where science, innovation, and people come together. Over the past weeks, three very different events captured the spirit of this growing community: 🤝 At the Science Village Community Launch, people from across Lund's research organisations, academia, and industry came together to share a common vision for the future- one build around openness, collaboration, and creating more opportunities for people and ideas to connect across organisations and disciplines. 🔬 LINXS Science Day highlighted the incredible range of research enabled by neutron and X-ray science, from quantum materials to life science and advanced materials, while also creating space for researchers to connect and exchange ideas. 🏃 The Science Spring Run, brought people together from across Science Village to walk, run, and cheer each other on in the Skåne sunshine, showing how community extends beyond labs and offices.
