The German Ministry of Research visits the ESRF We were very honoured to welcome Dr. Andrea Fischer, Head of the Subdivision for Large-Scale Facilities and Basic Research at the Bundesministerium für Forschung, Technologie und Raumfahrt Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space, along with colleagues from the German delegation. The visit provided an opportunity to highlight Germany's strong engagement with the ESRF and to present the ESRF's medium- and long-term strategy. Following a presentation by Theresa Urban on the Human Organ Atlas project and the BMFTR-funded BM18 beamline, the delegation visited several beamlines, including BM20, the Rossendorf beamline operated by HZDR, Kristina Kvashnina and ID20 Christoph Sahle, which benefits from two BMFTR-funded projects.
