The first ESRF #SynchroRun took place this week around the ring🏃🏃‍♂️. The race, which took runners around the ring, was organised by the Young Scientist Committee. Far from being an event for young scientists only, the SynchroRun brought together colleagues from all divisions, ages and roles – a great snapshot of ESRF staff. Marshals posted along the route guided participants and counted laps as runners completed as many loops as possible in 30 minutes. The Young Scientist Committee representatives are: Federico Abbruciati, Ilies BENTAMENE, Sandra B., Ilian Boukherrouba, Marli C., Emanuele Colonna, Anne-Sophie HUMM, Meo van Duijnen Montijn, Angelica Orlova and Virginia Sanna.
