There is something incredibly rewarding about a room full of teachers learning, experimenting, and growing together. In recent workshops delivered by Ms. Manisha Dak, Head of Academics (Teacher Development) , on #TeachingVocabulary and #ClassroomManagement, the focus extended beyond what to teach, exploring how to bring words to life, balancing teacher-led clarity with student-led discovery. The energy came alive during #microteaching, where participants stepped into the role of the teacher and applied new strategies with confidence and creativity. The sessions also emphasized building strong classroom foundations, including co-creating ground rules, using attention grabbers, setting up tasks effectively, and engaging fast finishers in meaningful ways. What made this experience particularly impactful was both the scale and the intention behind it. With 80 participants in the room, the workshop itself became a live model of managing large groups, offering opportunities for learning through observation, reflection, and ‘loop input’ in action. These workshops also served as a platform for shaping future trainers, creating a space not only for learning, but for mentoring, sharing, and passing on knowledge. The organisation is grateful for the enthusiasm, openness, and commitment every participant brought into the room. This is how legacies in education are built together. #CPD #TeacherTraining #ProfessionalDevelopment #ELT
