On to the next Chapter; “Untold stories, here I come” As storytellers, we keep going back to the basics whenever we feel lost. “Every well-written story consists of chapters”. As some chapters builds up and hooks you, the end of each chapter has to eventually come to allow for more progress in the story. This is (sadly) how it feels after almost a decade long chapter as a senior editor at Resolution Films. A chapter that was hard to turn the page on, and start a fresh one. Spending that long there, meant that it was never just a workspace. It felt like a ship with other skilled crewmen. We go through ups and downs together, and got each other’s backs, to deliver and move ahead. Alot of incredibly talented people in all phases of production. Alot of juniors that I trained and saw them grow. With Simon Ferguson (MMII) steering this huge ship forward, I’ve always felt very lucky and grateful for his constant encouragement and for always having my back. Resolution is where alot of memories took place and stories that I’ll forever cherish and hold dear to me. It is never a goodbye but a mere “see you around”. Thank you Simon and the incredible Resolution team for almost an incredible dacade. I really with you all the best in your current chapter. The intense urge to delve into an untold story (to listen, craft, refine and to narrate) is a feeling that drove me to take that extremely difficult step, to seek those untold stories.
