📢 We’re hiring a Legal Counsel (Sydney CBD) 📢 Step into a key legal role at the Energy Security Corporation, supporting the frameworks that underpin our investment and operational activities. Working closely with our General Counsel and investment team, you’ll help structure and deliver investments in line with legislative requirements, the Investment Mandate and internal governance frameworks. What you’ll be responsible for ⬇️ 🔹 Providing clear, practical legal advice across investment and operational matters 🔹 Drafting and negotiating key transaction documents, including term sheets and confidentiality agreements 🔹 Supporting transaction structuring from internal approvals through to financial close 🔹 Reviewing due diligence materials and helping manage legal and reputational risks 🔹 Managing external legal counsel and contributing to policy, compliance and governance activities What you’ll bring ⬇️ 🔹 Experience advising on infrastructure, project finance or investment transactions 🔹 Strong drafting and negotiation skills across commercial and financing agreements 🔹 Proven experience supporting due diligence and risk assessment processes 🔹 Excellent analytical, research and communication skills 🔹 Background in project finance law, ideally within renewable energy or infrastructure 👉 Apply here:  https://lnkd.in/gqXCnpbK 📩 For more information, contact Laurence Street at [email protected] 🗓️ Applications close Monday 6 April 2026
