From vision to action: delivering PR6 together. The capacity, skills and performance of ESB Networks’ contracting partners will be fundamental to the successful delivery of PR6. That importance was very much the theme underpinning today’s ESB Networks Contracting Partners Group (CPG) Conference in County Laois. Nicholas Tarrant, Managing Director at ESB Networks, welcomed key stakeholders from across the construction industry and highlighted the central role the Contracting Partners Group plays within ESB Networks’ PR6 Delivery Strategy, transforming regulatory ambition into on-the-ground delivery and supporting ESB Networks’ role in building the electricity network Ireland needs for a clean electric future. John Finnegan, Principal Officer for Electricity Networks and Systems at the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment (DCEE), set out the policy context driving ESB Networks’ significant PR6 investment, reinforcing the scale of the opportunity and responsibility ahead. Attendees also heard from Ger Forde and Simon Barry, who outlined the delivery plan for major projects and the wider PR6 work programme. PR6 will be delivered through partnership. It will rely on shared capability, strong collaboration and a clear line of sight from strategy to execution. Today’s conference marked an important step in aligning our vision with action, as we work together to deliver PR6 safely, efficiently and at pace, for customers and communities across Ireland.
