The energy transition is personal for me, which is why I'm proud to support Quilt as a top solution, business with momentum, and a wonderful group of humans changing the world for the better. Today they announced a $20M Series B as they scale across North America. The biggest success factor I've experienced and learned from Paul Lambert, Matthew Knoll, Lizz Niemeyer, Audrey Nieh, and the broader team is how well they execute. They have 394% growth in homeowner leads, expansion to 16 states and 5 provinces, and top talent at every level including their new board members Veery Maxwell and Tom vonReichbauer. What sets Quilt apart isn't just the technology (though SEER2 25 / HSPF2 12 ratings are impressive). It's that they've designed a heat pump system people actually want in their homes (sleek indoor units that fit above doors and windows), room-by-room control via app or Dial, and intelligent features that save energy automatically. You can also color match it to your space- this is a team that understands the personal and emotional aspects of home design. With residential HVAC accounting for 15% of U.S. emissions, this is one of the market-based solutions that's working, scaling, and solving climate change. It gives me hope and an important systemic ally as my day job wrangles city councils to get more clean sources of power online. Go team! https://lnkd.in/gMvfjFHE
