As the snow began to fall this evening, I escaped to the barn with a glass of wine and Brené Brown ‘s new “Unlockling Us” podcast. Her “FFT” {Effing First Times} reminder to “embrace the suck” that comes with all these “brave & awkward” pandemic firsts of firsts made me smile and remember. Friends, firsts are hard...effing hard! Being brave and bold in the midst of the scary, new and unknown wilderness of these days is wobbly and oh so weird. May the white blanket of snow that fell over New England this afternoon clean the slate and remind us that there is a new day to come tomorrow and we got this, even when if it’s wobbly, weird and “effing” hard!
