I’m excited to share some news! COWI is expanding its Technical Advisory for Battery Energy Storage (BESS) into the German market—and I’ll be leading our business development here. Why now? German grid connection requests for renewables have already exceeded 500 GW. Even if only a fraction is realized, the need for reliable storage solutions is immense. For me, this means shifting some focus away from wind energy and stepping into new territory. But that’s exactly what makes it exciting: building something new that I believe in—and supporting BESS as a key enabler of the global energy transition.
