Yesterday we concluded the 2nd Unite! Research School organized by the Unite! University Network for Innovation, Technology and Engineering. With Eugenio BRUSA I had the honor to organize one of the three tracks, Space&Tech. I think we can look back on a very successful edition thanks to the work of many, but in particular the enthusiastic participation of some 140 extremely motivated students (of which 36 were admitted to the S&T track). Some highlights of the event include: The lectures and case-studies led by dedicated teachers on a variety of space-related topics: ⭐ Didier Donsez on building an Internet of Things on the Moon, ⭐ Didier D. (Devaux) and Benoit Campeon on Solid State Battery technology for Space, ⭐ Simon Charpentier and Luc Littré (Air Liquide) on Fuel Cell technology for Space, ⭐ Estelle Moraux on Lunar Exploration, ⭐ Nicole Viola on Lunar Habitats, ⭐ Sabrina Corpino on CubeSat Missions, and ⭐ Alain Herique on CubeSats for Deep Space 💡 A blended learning program on Quality Assurance and Product Assurance with Mylene Bouzat and Jean-Michel Niot of Air Liquide (Advanced Technologies). 🌠 A start gazing night with Frederic Charfi of Astro-Planetarium (https://lnkd.in/d-jCMNhd). 🏢 Industry Keynotes and a Panel Discussion with company representatives: * Air Liquide (Martin STAEMPFLIN) * LYNRED (Laurent Rubaldo) * Minalogic (David Gal-Regniez) * STMicroelectronics France (Remy Chevallier) * Teledyne e2v (Pascal Barbier) * Thales Alenia Space (Paolo Vaccaneo) And finally three laboratory visits: 🌖 Air Liquide Advanced Technologies 🔭 IRAM - Institut de Radioastronomie Millimétrique 🚀 Centre Spatial Universitaire de Grenoble (CSUG) The university implicated in the Erasmus+ Unite! project: Technische Universität Darmstadt Aalto University Technische Universität Graz Université Grenoble Alpes Grenoble INP - UGA KTH Royal Institute of Technology Politecnico di Torino ULisboa Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya Wrocław University of Science and Technology and the following members of the organizing staff: Alissa Grenet, Clémentine LAFFONT, Celine Bussières, Elisa Hausherr, Franz Bruckert, Astrid Rauda, and others I inadvertently forgot!
