Today marks 20 years in media. Around the same time I'm writing/posting this, 20 years ago, I'd be having my first vendor lunch, on my very first day, at 11 Madison. In 2005 that was a big deal, I had no clue. Everyone else ordered multiple glasses of Red wine and when I looked at the menu I panicked on the inside - how could I afford to pay my way? The bill would be higher than my credit card limit. When the check came I pulled out my credit card to help; the table laughed at me, and someone told me to put my card away, the bill was covered by the rep. A LOT of billing, reporting, and faxing followed from there.... Shout out to that ID Media crew in the Interactive Department (digital media was so new it wasn't called Digital yet...) - we had a weird old time!
