Every collection tells a story… This one begins long before Italy. Many people associate my work with Italian craftsmanship, and rightly so. Italy has shaped me enormously as a creator/designer. But before Italy, there was Bosnia. The rhythm of its people. The soft raggedness of its landscapes. The melancholy and beauty found in its music. Some of that has quietly found its way into this collection. The video you’re watching is inspired by those roots, accompanied by one of the songs that has always stayed with me. Here, not a literal translation, but my interpretation of its spirit. ⸻ Even If They Gave Me Sarajevo Inspired by the song of ever so talented Enes Begović The rain keeps falling, where do I belong? Every road I take still leads me wrong. Because of you, I’m soaked right through. Even the moon has hidden from the view. The wind keeps calling my name tonight, But something deep inside still wants to fight. So I knock once more upon your door, Hoping you’ll be there like before. Even if they gave me Sarajevo, Every street and every light, Without you, it wouldn’t feel like home, It would only be another lonely night. They could offer me the whole wide world, Every dream I’ve ever known. But one smile from you is worth much more, Because with you… I’m finally home. Bosnia gave me my roots. Italy refined my craft.
