Did you see the Superbowl ad for "ai.com"? OpenAI's hiring of OpenClaw's creator, kills ai.com. Dead. Bullet in head. Goodbye. I expect this will happen in AI a lot over the next 2 years. Someone will have a great idea on Monday that is dead on Friday because a bigger player takes that idea and folds it into their own offering. Ai.com is a wrapper for OpenClaw, a general-purpose personal agent. Kind of like a Digital Personal Servant that can do things on your computer or online. The theoretical value of a wrapper around OpenClaw is primarily to make it easier and safer for the mass market. OpenAI will now provide that wrapper. There is now no need for what ai.com is selling.
