Uber Submits Application to Turkish Competition Authority to Acquire Getir Meal Delivery Turkish Competition Authority published a report that it has received an application from Uber, requesting an approval to acquire online meal delivery business of Getir in Turkey. After finalizingthe deal Uber will be able to create a synergy with Trendyol Go by Uber Eats becoming the dominant actor in the sector. Trendyol Go has recently became the major player in meal delivery services in Turkey and upon the approval it will be the biggest meal delivery company competing with the oldest player Yemeksepeti.
