❯❯❯❯ 𝗘𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 – 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 ⚡ The Eirin field has started production and is exporting gas to Europe via the Gina Krog and Sleipner A platforms in the North Sea. 🚀 Thanks to short decision lines, end-to-end responsibility and a “one team” setup with suppliers, it took only three years from project establishment to production start. 🇪🇺 “The partnership (together with ORLEN Upstream Norway AS) saw an opportunity to contribute to Europe’s energy security in a challenging time. Eirin will extend production from Gina Krog by seven years, meaning more gas to Europe and continued value creation,” says Linda Kåda Høiland, senior vice president for late-life fields in Equinor. 🌍 The project showcases how marginal discoveries can be developed quickly and profitably using standardized solutions and existing infrastructure. Gina Krog was electrified in 2023, enabling low CO2 production emissions for Eirin – around 3 kg CO2/barrel. 🔧 Eirin has expected recoverable resources of about 28 million barrels of oil equivalent, mainly gas. 👉  Find out more at the link in the comments ⬇️
