For Marte, it was important to get a job in the north โ€” close to nature, family and operations. Today, she works as an operations and energy engineer at Norne, where she follows up production, energy use and day-to-day operations. Much of her work is about analysing data, identifying improvements and optimising the systems that keep production running. At the Harstad office, people from all over the world work together, bringing different perspectives, experiences and professional backgrounds. That is one of the things Marte values most. โ€œI hope we find smarter ways of doing things, while maintaining the energy production we have today.โ€ Through this yearโ€™s Arctic Race of Norway, we mark 50 years of activity in the north โ€” and the people building it further. Get to know Marte better ๐Ÿ‘‡
