Discoveries made in the Tonjer wells and Geitungen will now form the basis for Johan Sverdrup phase 4. ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ Together with our partners Aker BP ASA, Petoro and TotalEnergies, weโ€™re now maturing a new subsea development that will help maintain production and value creation from Norway's largest oil-producing field. This also contributes to Europe's energy security. ๐Ÿ”„ The volumes from Tonjer west and east, and Geitungen โ€“ currently estimated at 20-30 million barrels of oil equivalent โ€“ are planned to be developed through a subsea development tied back to existing Johan Sverdrup infrastructure. โšก By tying new resources to existing infrastructure, we can develop them quickly, with low costs and low emissions, while helping maintain production and value creation from one of Norwayโ€™s largest oil-producing fields over time. ๐Ÿ“Š Exploring more around our existing fields and bringing new finds into production faster than ever before is a firm part of our goal to keep 2020 production levels on the Norwegian continental shelf all the way to 2035. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Find out more at the link in the comments โฌ‡๏ธ
