The study focuses on 10 female cowpea farmers in Northern Ghana who are organized into Susu groups (informal savings cooperatives). It examines how profit-sharing, blockchain traceability, and sustainable practices can build a fairer, more transparent cowpea value chain from Ghana to the Netherlands.
