Dr. Zsolt János Viharos works at SZTAKI (Institute for Computer Science and Control) as senior research fellow and is lecturer at the John von Neumann University. At SZTAKI he is member of the Research Laboratory on Engineering & Management Intelligence, he is leading the Intelligent Processes research group. At first he graduated as mathematical-engineer on Budapest University of Technology and Economics as on the same university he received the Master of Business Administration degree and in 2000 the Ph.D. title as well. Inside the EPIC - Centre of Excellence in Production Informatics and Control project he is the Work Package manager of WP7: Developing the regional Cyber Physical Production (CPP) & Innovation ecosystem and widening socio-economic impact. He is an active #scientist in the basic research for establishment and publication of new algorithms and methods, especially in the fields of #artificialneuralnetworks, search algorithms and multicriteria #optimisation solutions, incomplete data handling, #reinforcementlearning, neuro-fuzzy systems; in the applied research of transferring the basic research results into #businessapplications, especially for production firms, vehicle and energy sector; in the Innovation: establishment and validation of innovative solutions, especially for manufacturing and financial industries and in business applications: application of the research and development results in industrial environments.
