No waiting: Pilot for e-truck charging reservations started! Together with E.ON Group Innovation & E.ON Digital Technology, we're launching an innovative reservation platform that lets fleets plan charging stops and book charging bays in advance, so drivers can charge during mandatory rest times and keep deliveries on schedule. 💡 What it solves - Aligns charging stops with legal rest periods - Eliminates queueing and unnecessary downtime - Stays flexible when traffic or ETAs change 📲 How it works - Plan and book along the route - before or during the trip - Pick a start time; a ±15-minute grace window is included - The bay is exclusively blocked for your slot; unlock via web app - If not used, the slot is released after the grace period to keep infrastructure efficient 📍 Pilot locations The first reservable chargers are live at the MAN Truck & Bus SE Service Center Karlsfeld (near Munich, close to the A99).
