Milestone reached: Our biggest Deutschlandnetz site is now live in Papenburg! ⚡🇩🇪 We’ve just launched E.ON Drive Infrastructure’s biggest #Deutschlandnetz location to date – located in Papenburg, close to the Dutch border. With high power, high comfort, and high sustainability, this new location marks a major step forward in the expansion of Germany’s ultra-fast charging network. What makes this site special? 🔋 12 charge points with up to 400 kW – enabling charging in just ~20 minutes 🏗️ 3 signature design roofs combining weather protection, integrated LED guidance, live occupancy display and ad-hoc pricing ☀️ Rooftop solar panels help power the site sustainably 🚗 Extra-wide and drive-through bays – including one oversized space for trailers or e-vans The location adds even more value: located along the B70, a key north-south route in the Emsland region, the site serves both local traffic and long-distance travelers – including cross-border journeys from the Netherlands. Thanks to the partnership with Möbel ALBERS, drivers also benefit from access to nearby infrastructure: restrooms, supermarkets, and various retail options turn a short charging stop into a comfortable break. 📍: https://lnkd.in/epgpyzMK “With the new high-power charging site in Papenburg, we are strengthening the charging infrastructure exactly where people live, work, and travel. This is another important component in the Deutschlandnetz, with which we are creating 9,000 ultra-fast charging points nationwide – for convenient and reliable charging in cities, in rural areas, and along highways.” –Patrick Schnieder, Federal Minister of Transport “Papenburg is a flagship site for us. It brings together all elements we strive for: performance, Infrastructure, accessibility, and sustainability – and it’s built with the user at the center.” – Ludolf von Maltzan, Business Manager Germany, E.ON Drive Infrastructure 👉 Full press release: https://lnkd.in/dB5Ubjvk Papenburg is one of over 170 ultra-fast charging locations E.ON is building as part of the federal Deutschlandnetz initiative – with many more sites already under construction. Additional charging parks in collaboration with Möbel ALBERS are already in planning, including locations in Meppen, Stralsund, and Greifswald. #EDRI public charging for everyone, everywhere.
