Expert in Print Strategy | Designing Bespoke Newspapers for Brands that Mean Business | Founder of Brand Cult, Award-Winning Business Newspaper 🗞️ Is your Brand Newspaper-worthy?
If I were hosting an International Women's Day event, this is how I'd design a newspaper that actually honours women. One of my absolute favourite sold-out issues of Brand Cult was our Community Issue. Over 50 women from my OWN network on one front page. It was bold, beautiful and unapologetic... just like them! It was a proper celebration of women in business. That's what made me think about how brands approach IWD. Most events feel like box-ticking and quotes found on Pinterest. All forgotten by the next day...until the next year rolls around. But what if you created something people actually kept? As an expert in designing bespoke newspaper for House of Cult Brands For an IWD event, I'd structure it like this: Front page: A bold headline celebrating women in your industry. Profiles: Short interviews with women across all roles, not just leadership. Industry context: Where women actually stand in your sector right now. Opinion pieces: Real perspectives, and HOT TAKES 🌶️ . Then you use it properly. Hand it to guests on arrival. Place it on seats before panels. Let it become a conversation starter. Something they take home, leave on their desk, share with their team. I want to see more newspapers celebrating women properly! I'm always interested in how brands choose to mark moments like this. Would a newspaper work for your next event?
