Forests are one of our greatest climate solutions—but protecting them at the scale the world needs requires more than ambition. It requires trust, partnership and investment. During London Climate Action Week, EDF was honored to bring together governments, Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities, investors, corporate leaders and technical experts for a conversation on how to accelerate high-integrity jurisdictional REDD+ and unlock finance that delivers lasting impact for forests, people and the climate. The energy in the room was clear: momentum is growing. Across sectors, there is increasing recognition that jurisdictional approaches to forest conservation can help channel finance where it is needed most while supporting robust governance, protecting biodiversity and creating meaningful benefits for the communities that have long stewarded these landscapes. Turning that momentum into action is our shared challenge—and our shared opportunity. Thank you to our partners—Climate Law and Policy, JTAP, Kawari Fund, Winrock International and Wildlife Conservation Society—and to everyone who contributed their perspectives and commitment. Together, we are helping build the partnerships and confidence needed to scale forest finance with integrity. Watch a few highlights from the event. 👇🏽 🌿
