Data center siting looks straightforward until you run the numbers. We used Enverus PRISM® to evaluate three candidate sites in Nebraska - same ISO, same bus voltage, same fiber availability. The kind of sites that look comparable on the surface. The forward-looking grid data told a different story. One site had nearly 2,000 MW of withdrawal capacity in the 2039 planning case. Another had 12.17 MW. That gap doesn’t show up in historical data. It only surfaces when you layer in planning case capacity, buildable acreage, LMP trends and infrastructure proximity together - which is exactly what PRISM is built to do.
