Annual time-series simulations in under 30 seconds. Up to 20,000x faster. And no, we didn't slip in an extra zero 😁 It is, in fact, real-world performance enabled by our new GPU-based Grid Solver. No sci-fi, just pure physics. Until now, large-scale time-series simulations were simply too slow for daily work, right? Our new GPU-based power flow solver removes that constraint: it computes a full annual time-series simulation in under 30 seconds — orders of magnitude faster than conventional desktop grid calculation tools. What this means in practice for distribution grid operators: – Connection requests can be assessed significantly faster – Hosting capacity becomes a time-series-based picture of every grid segment – Existing grid capacity can be fully utilized before investing in reinforcement – Investment decisions can be tested against millions of scenarios There is one important distinction we want to make. This is NOT black-box, AI-based estimation. Our goal was not JUST to speed calculations up, but make them fully reliable and auditable. Therefore, the solver is built on deterministic, physics-based models that capture complex voltage behavior and reactive power effects in distribution grids. Producing the results your engineers can actually verify and stand behind. The patent-pending solver will soon be available in selected time-series and hosting capacity workflows in the Grid Hub, with further use cases to follow throughout the year. Curious?
