🔋 New battery storage project in Beckum, Germany   Entrix will take on the multi-market optimization and trading of a 55 MWh / 20 MW battery storage system currently under construction in the city of Beckum. The project is being developed jointly by Energieversorgung Beckum (evb) and Westenergie. The storage asset will play a crucial role in local grid stability by absorbing excess renewable energy and releasing it when needed – helping balance volatility and secure regional supply.   The project is not only the largest investment in evb’s history, but also a strong example of how municipalities and partners can make the energy transition tangible – through infrastructure, innovation and public participation.
