On Tuesday, an Irish delegation visited the Sanofi AI Accelerator in Paris, France, for discussions around Europe’s ambitions for artificial intelligence in healthcare and pharmaceutical innovation. The morning opened with an engaging roundtable discussion featuring Leo McAdams, Head of Advanced Manufacturing, Construction & Life Sciences at Enterprise Ireland, Mark Canavan, EU Public Affairs Senior Director at Sanofi, Michael Pierlovisi, Global Head of Data & AI Strategy and Portfolio at Sanofi and Paul Deane, First Secretary, Head of Trade and Economic Relations at Embassy of Ireland France - Ambassade d'Irlande en France, exploring the key factors that will enable Europe to strengthen its global leadership in these strategic sectors. This was followed by presentations from a number of Irish companies, showcasing innovative solutions and potential areas for collaboration with Sanofi: Brightbeam AI · S3 Connected Health · Business Platforms · OpenSky Data Systems · Better Futures · Catalyx · Druid Software The day concluded with an Ireland–France trade dinner at the Nolinski Paris Restaurant, where Niall Burgess, Ambassador of Ireland to France highlighted the shared value and mutual benefits of Franco‑Irish trade.
