Enterprise Ireland’s Innovation Arena at the National Ploughing Championships gives pioneering Irish agri innovators the opportunity to showcase their future-focused solutions at one of Europe’s largest outdoor events. These trailblazers are harnessing new tools and advancements in technology to deliver cutting edge solutions with the potential to solve a range of complex challenges, helping to bring new practices and efficiencies which can address costs and help to secure global agriculture and food supply chains. Entries for the 2026 Enterprise Ireland Innovation Arena Awards are now open, with several categories in this year’s competition, including ‘Start-Up Innovator of the Year’ which was last year won by Cork-based company ScanInsights. Led by Dr Daniel Ryan, ScanInsights harnesses AI to give real-time information on bovine scanning to make the process more accurate and efficient, providing a real time estimate to the operator while the scanning process is ongoing.
