Enterprise Ireland has been appointed as Ireland’s Industrial Liaison Office (ILO) to CERN, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research. In this role, Enterprise Ireland will act as the primary interface between CERN and Irish enterprise, supporting companies to access procurement opportunities, participate in advanced research collaborations and integrate into CERN’s global supplier network. CERN’s procurement activity spans sectors including advanced manufacturing, ICT, electronics, precision engineering and materials science. The appointment strengthens Ireland’s engagement with a leading international research organisation and supports Enterprise Ireland’s strategy to drive innovation, competitiveness and international growth across Irish industry.
