Together with FIB (SERI Industrial Spa), we have reached an agreement for the joint development of an integrated industrial supply chain in the lithium iron phosphate battery sector. The initiative covers the production of cells and modules, and the assembly of systems for stationary storage applications and for industrial and commercial electric mobility. Industrial activities will be developed at the Teverola hub in Caserta, where the first cell production plant is already operational, followed by a second gigafactory by 2029 with an output of over 8 GWh/year. Building on the complementary industrial expertise of the two companies, the project contributes to the development of a battery industry in Europe, with the goal of capturing over 10% of the European stationary battery market. https://lnkd.in/eGueYqre
