The NSW Government has announced $80 million in co-funding available to help the manufacturing and mining sectors reduce emissions. Issued via two major grants, the goal is to help NSW industrial sectors reduce their emissions and remain competitive in a transitioning net zero economy. The Low Emissions Industry Program provides $40 million to co-fund emissions reduction projects at manufacturing and mining facilities that emit up to 100,000 tCO2-e per year. Business can apply for between $500,000 and $10 million, to cover up to 50% of project costs. This program supports manufacturing and mining facilities that reported under the NGER Scheme in 2024-25. *Applications close on Tuesday, 09 June 2026 at 11:00pm (AEST).
